Members of the Oakwood Junior High Power of the Pen team are being recognized following the 2021 State Tournament held online May 15.
The seventh grade team placed 24th out of 168 teams. Teagan Williams earned a Superior designation, Matilda Prizler and Julia Ludwig each earned Honors designations.
The eighth grade team placed 18th out of 168 teams. Diane Rosenberg placed 6th in the state and earned a Superior designation. Elizabeth Erwin and Lilly Rich each earned Honors designations.
