Welcome to Oakwood Junior High
The 2024-2025 school year is my 12th year in Oakwood and my 9th as principal at Oakwood Junior High. I lead an experienced, talented, and amazingly caring staff of educators who value each student's unique contributions to our community and school culture.
At Oakwood Junior High, we understand and embrace the triumphs and challenges our students are likely to experience in navigating adolescent responsibilities, relationships, and emotions. As students develop increasing independence, we value affording opportunities for them to grow while also partnering with their families provide needed supports along the way. We will learn and grow together throughout the year, and we prioritize genuine connections to the classes of 2029 and 2030.
